I have very dry skin. So irrespective of the weather, I always need a moisturizer to keep myself hydrated. Though I have tried many brands but there are only a few as of yet which I can trust, and Forest Essentials is one of them which has recently come on my list. This was the first time I tried their products.

One day when we were out for shopping and we just passed by Forest Essentials’ store, “R” reminded me that I once mentioned about trying Forest Essentials products, so he asked me to try on now. I walked into the store and found lot of skin care products in attractive packaging. As a dry skin bearer, I thought of trying a cream or a moisturizer and so I explained the sales representative about my requirements, who was very helpful. When I am looking for a cream or a moisturizer, I want something which keeps me hydrated but doesn’t make me look greasy. Most of the moisturizers which claim to tend dry skin would make you end up in a greasy look, atleast that’s what they do to me.  The sales guy introduced me to their best seller which is Forest Essentials Soundarya Radiance cream. It comes in a beautiful packaging and very attractive fragrance. Forest Essentials Soundarya Radiance Cream was the winner of the Elle India Beauty awards. The formula has variety of ayurvedic herbs along with 24 Karat Gold and comes with SPF 25. The texture of the cream is very smooth and is very light on the skin. The only drawbacks are that it doesn’t come in small packaging and is very expensive, which normally first timers don’t want to try with bigger bottles.  Looking at my skin type the sales representative also guided me to use Forest Essentials Face Wash. Forest Essentials Soundarya Radiance Cream costed me Rs 4200. Though the cream’s price is very high but the Sales rep told me that it would last 6 months as only a little has to be applied. I am already using it from past 2 months and am very happy with the results. It sufficiently hydrates my skin and keeps it moisturized entire day.

  1. The beautiful aroma of the cream
  2. It comes in an attractive packaging
  3. Fine texture
  4. Hydrates well
  5. Only a small quantity has to be applied which is sufficient
  6. Don’t need to re-hydrate as it lasts the entire day

  1. Very expensive
  2. Oily skin people stay away
