Easy Canvas Painting

One day when I was strolling in one of the malls, I passed by a stationary store and that’s when the idea of making something on my own popped in my head. I am not an artist and neither I am close to one.

It is just that I wanted to try my hands on canvas and so I moved into the store and as a freshie, unaware of any tools and techniques, but the salesman was very helpful who guided me what to buy and here I was with a canvas and a set of acrylic colours. Phewwww!…….. But I didn’t know what I was going to paint or at the first place if I would be able to do so. So, I started to browse pinterest and finalised a nursery pattern which was there on etsy, link is here https://www.etsy.com/in-en/listing/185768154/owl-nursery-paintings-pink-grey-woodland?utm_source=Pinterest&utm_medium=PageTools&utm_campaign=Share

I used a few of flat brushes and round brushes, a size 0 round brush was an essential. The colours I used are from Camlin.

To start with I drew the desired pattern on the canvas with the help of a pencil. This helped me to be definitive about the boundaries. In two the canvases I had used, I made stripes of grey and white as you can see in the image, you can also use a sellotape to ensure that you colour within boundaries. Here, is how it turned out to be.
