Homemade Face Mask | DIY

After the new year’s party with tons of makeup on its time to pamper and rejuvenate the skin. Pampering the skin is essential routine for me. The weather too is harsh on the skin as winters are mostly dry and so I ensure to take care of my skin. I’m sure many of us like me don’t get time for a professional  facial very often especially the working moms but don’t let that take the better of you. My mom recently told me very fantastic diy homemade face mask which left my skin supple, hydrated and glowy. But as we say Rome wasn’t built-in a day, similarly, it isn’t magic to get a healthy looking skin in just a day. However, it takes just 7 days to look glowy with the fabulous homemade face mask. All you need is a bunch of ingredients readily available in our kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • Turmeric-1 tspn
  • Gram flour or Besan- 1 tbspn
  • Fresh cream or malai – 1 tbspn
  • a little water

Time for preparation: It takes hardly 2 minutes to prepare this homemade face mask.

Application Time: 20: Should be applied for 20 minutes.

Mix all the ingredients except water and later add a little by little but ensure not to make its consistency too thin as otherwise it would drool all over. Then generously apply the paste all over the face. Let it dry for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes wash the face. At first I felt a little greasy but as I wiped my face with a napkin, I felt alright. Infact after a couple of minutes I felt the need to moisturise a bit so I skipped moisturise and used Ginseng oil instead. In a nutshell, you might or might not feel an urge to moisturise your face according to the skin type. As mine is super dry I surely feel the need to do so all the time. Try it on atleast 7 days in a row to get the best results. It might sound too much but if you manage your time properly it’s not much. I normally do it in the morning while I’m cooking. Find your space and pamper your skin.

Have a happy new year and a healthy skin.
